Summer Digital Learning Conference

In the online environment, a student’s disability may not be as obvious and understanding how a person with a disability uses digital resources is complex. If online materials are not created with web accessibility in mind, it may exclude a segment of the population from gaining full access to the content or community. There are standards that offer guidance as to how to address a student's disability needs and those will be explored throughout this session along with what can be done to increase accessibility.
